Greetings! Welcome to the Fashion Polly Identification Guide! As you may or may not know, the Fashion Polly line by Mattel is a spin-off series of that classic, Polly Pocket. When Mattel gave Polly a whole new image in 1999, they also introduced Fashion Polly, which used the same characters from the new Polly Pocket (Polly, Lea, etc.), but they came in the form of 3 3/4" plastic jointed dolls. They gave a new spin on fashion dolls; instead of traditional cloth clothing, Polly and gang used unique "Polly Stretch" garments, rubbery plastic clothes that could easily be slipped on off the dolls. To find out more about the Fashion Polly items Mattel is produced so far, take a look at the list below and click on a name to find out more about what came with it.
Note: These sets are listed roughly in the order in which they began shipping to stores. The dates are usually conflicting on the recolored sets; the recoloreds were often produced one or two years after the first but the copyright on the box remained the same. However, this is ignored and they are placed in order of release.
